GR Golf has a variety of box sizes to accommodate small, mid-size and large orders. Often we are asked to define a maximum pack quantity for shipping a single box via small package carrier. Below, our general guidelines:

Seat Bottom Covers (p/n containing ST-CVR) So that you can save on shipping costs, we can fit up to 15 seat bottom covers in the same box, but suggest 10 pcs so that your contents arrive wrinkle free.

Backrest Covers (p/n containing BK-CVR) So that you can save on shipping costs, we can fit up to 30 small backrest covers in the same box, but suggest 20 pcs so that your contents arrive wrinkle free. So that you can save on shipping costs, we can fit up to 15 large backrest covers in the same box, but suggest 10 pcs so that your contents arrive wrinkle free.

SETS, Seat Bottom & Backrest Covers (p/n containing ST-CVR) So that you can save on shipping costs, we can fit up to 7 cover sets in the same box, but suggest 5 so that your contents arrive wrinkle free.

First of all, it can be done and look professional. Have you reviewed the upholstery guide downloads? Note: The task of reupholstering a foam in place factory cushion is best suited for one that has prior experience recovering conventional, older model cushions. We do not advise learning to reupholster a golf cart cushion by starting with the Club Car Precedent 2004 – July 2011 model or the Yamaha Drive.

A small minority of our customers have improvised a method of covering up the exposed upholstery staples on the plastic of the Club Car Precedent / Yamaha Drive using a flexible trim piece not sold by us. One such product is referred to as hidem trim or welt cord. It is commonly used in the marine industry and sold in a variety of colors by the yard at upholstery supply shops. This product opens at middle and the flaps fold over the staples.

GR Golf is selling replacement seat skins to golf cart dealers that use staple guns ranging from economical to the top of the line.

For our complete cushion assemblies, we use actual air powered guns designed for upholstery made by BeA. This lightweight powerful stapler features a bottom loading magazine, ergonomic design for reduced operator fatigue, and integrated silencer making it useful for both industrial and home use. Low air consumption, increased durability, and ease of maintenance make this stapler a real cost saver.

GR Golf does not sell staple guns. These upholstery staplers are available for purchase from Detroit Staple Company by calling 810-735-5600. Our contact is Jay but anyone should be able to help. Ask for model 80-16 420. They recondition these guns too.

Detroit Staple also sells the small upholstery staple that fits the above staple gun. We recommend either the galvanized Spot Nail p/n 98006 1/2-inch crown staples with 3/8-inch leg or the stainless BeA p/n 80-10 3/8˝. They are able to sell all of these items to our customers direct.

Decrease air pressure. We have ours set to 80 lbs. Check driver - pull trigger on staple gun and hold in after discharging staple into cushion. How far is the driver sticking out? You may benefit from shortening it and can do so by tapping on a grinder.
